Efforts to introduce new buses under the 'company system' have remained stalled due to sickness of the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) mayor and lack of initiatives by the authorities concerned to carry out negotiations with all stakeholders.
Negative propaganda about ailing mayor Annsiul Huq, who is now undergoing treatment at a hospital in central London of the United Kingdom, on social media and various online news portal is totally baseless and confusing, said a Dhaka North City Corporation press release on Thursday.
