“Battle of Minds is a great opportunity for the young talent who dreams of success in life,” said Annisul Huq, Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation at the Grand Finale of Battle of Minds recently.

Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of the Dhaka University won the Battle of the Minds 2016, a recruitment platform of British American Tobacco Bangladesh. BUET became the first runners-up, followed by North South University, said a press release.

The grand final of the Battle of Minds arranged by British American Tobacco Bangladesh was held in a city hotel where five teams from different universities presented their ideas to attract the customers of different restaurants by offering different meal options and campaign.
In addition, participants put forward their ideas after working with the certain restaurant owners practically.

Mayor Annisul Huq handed over the crest to the winning IBA team. BAT Bangladesh Chairman Golam Mainuddin, Managing Director Shehzad Munim, Head of HR Rumana Rahman, Executive committee members, current and previous board of directors, government officials, university faculties were also present at the event.

Students of North South University (NSU), the second runners-up winning team of the ‘Battle of Minds’, pose for photograph with the NSU teachers as well as their parents, during the Grand Finale of the event in the capital recently.

Speaking as a chief guest at the programme, Mayor told the young participants, “To be great in life, you have to dream big as well as you have to target big goal. In our time, there were no such big institution to guide us for dreaming big and there was no such technological capacity. You have great opportunity to move forward.”

The BATB is organising the event since 2004 and this year on its 13th edition, a total of 2,300 students from 18 different universities across the country took part in the competition.
