Late DNCC Mayor Annisul’s father passes away

Shariful Huq, father of army chief General Abu Belal Muhammad Shafiul Huq and former mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation Annisul Huq, passed away at a hospital in Dhaka on Wednesday morning. He was 96. He breathed his last at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) around 11:20am. In the meantime, President Abdul Hamid expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Shariful Huq. In a condolence message, President Hamid prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and also expressed sincere sympathy to the bereaved family.
