Dhaka North City Corporation Mayor Annisul Huq has been admitted again to the intensive care unit of a London hospital.
“Annisul Huq has been shifted to the ICU again because of infection,” news portal bdnews24.com quoted his wife, Rubana Haq, as saying on Tuesday.
The DNCC mayor, 65, was admitted to a London hospital on 4 August after he fell ill in the UK during a family trip.
He was shifted for rehabilitation on 31 October as his condition improved, according to a DNCC press release.
