Mayor Annisul promises to introduce 3,000 new buses in Dhaka City by 2017

He has said that this syndicate is the main obstacle in resolving the capital’s transportation problem.

He stated this while interacting with CEOs of the TV stations on Monday.

Mayor Huq in his election manifesto had pledged to give priority to resolving the transportation problem in Dhaka North.

He said on Monday 3,000 buses would be added to the city’s public transport system under ‘Traffic Management Programme’ by March, 2017.
