Negative propaganda about ailing mayor Annsiul Huq, who is now undergoing treatment at a hospital in central London of the United Kingdom, on social media and various online news portal is totally baseless and confusing, said a Dhaka North City Corporation press release on Thursday.
The condition of mayor Annisul Huq has improved further and he was shifted to rehabilitation from the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital on October 31, said the release.
Annisul, who had been suffering from neurological problems such as dizziness and lack of balance, was diagnosed with cerebral vasculitis at the London hospital. He got admitted to the hospital on August 13.
Annisul flew to London in the last week of July on personal purpose.
